Honda’s two most specialised manual-gearbox machines in Vietnam aim at opposite horizons: the CBR150R is built for smooth tarmac and revs; the CT125 is built for trails, tracks and luggage. Both spec sets are Honda VN official (retrieved 23 September 2026).

Engines

CBR150R: 149.2 cc, liquid-cooled DOHC, 12.6 kW at 9,000 rpm, 14.4 Nm at 7,000 rpm - a genuine sport engine that wants to be revved. CT125: 123.9 cc, air-cooled, 6.76 kW at 6,250 rpm, 10.9 Nm at 4,750 rpm - an engine tuned to tractor through bad ground at low rpm.

Missions

CBR150R: 139 kg, full fairing, 151 mm clearance, 12-litre tank, 100/80-17 front and 130/70-17 rear tyres. CT125: 117 kg, 165 mm clearance, 800 mm seat, 80/90-17 tyres both ends, 5.4-litre tank, rear rack styling. The CBR will cover Hanoi to the coast in a day at highway pace; the CT will happily leave the road where the CBR cannot.

Economy

CBR150R: 2.91 L/100 km. CT125: 1.61 L/100 km. A big gap - the fairing and the revs both cost fuel. Manufacturer test figures in both cases.

Price

CBR150R: 72,290,000 VND. CT125: 85,997,455 VND. Neither is price-published at our counter - contact us to confirm current availability. If your Vietnam riding is 80 percent city with occasional fast trips, the CBR; if it is 50 percent bad surfaces, the CT wins outright.
