Two Hondas share a 149.2 cc engine architecture and almost nothing else. All figures below come from the official Honda Vietnam product pages (retrieved 23 September 2026).

Engines

Both are liquid-cooled singles with 57.3 x 57.8 mm bore and stroke and an 11.3:1 compression ratio. CBR150R: DOHC, 12.6 kW at 9,000 rpm, 14.4 Nm at 7,000 rpm. Winner R: 11.5 kW at 9,000 rpm, 13.5 Nm at 7,000 rpm. Same capacity, same character family - the CBR’s DOHC head publishes the stronger figures.

The tank is the story

CBR150R: 12 litres - Honda publishes 2.91 L/100 km, so a theoretical 400 km between fills. Winner R: 4.5 litres at 2.59 L/100 km (UDC), roughly 170 km. For long-distance riding the CBR is built for the job; the Winner is a city-and-weekend machine.

Ergonomics and chassis

CBR: 139 kg, 788 mm seat, 1,312 mm wheelbase, Pro-Link rear shock, 100/80-17 front and 130/70-17 rear - the widest tyres in Honda’s Vietnamese small-capacity range - and a committed, forward-leaning riding position behind a full fairing. Winner: 124 kg, 795 mm seat, 1,277 mm wheelbase, 90/80-17 front and 120/70-17 rear, and an upright underbone stance that is far friendlier in traffic.

Price

Winner R: 46,360,000 VND. CBR150R: 72,290,000 VND (both list, retrieved 23 September 2026) - about 26 million VND apart.

Verdict

Winner R for affordable clutch-bike fun and everyday usability; CBR150R for touring range, weather protection and full sport ergonomics. Both are A1-bracket machines. Contact us to confirm current availability for rental.
