The CBR150R is the smallest full-fairing sport bike Honda sells in Vietnam: a proper racing-style machine with an A1-bracket engine, aimed at riders who want the look and riding position of a big bike with running costs a student can manage. All figures below come from the official Honda Vietnam CBR150R product page (retrieved 23 September 2026).

Engine and performance

The 149.2 cc single-cylinder four-stroke is liquid-cooled with DOHC valve gear, producing 12.6 kW at 9,000 rpm and 14.4 Nm at 7,000 rpm. Bore and stroke are 57.3 x 57.8 mm with an 11.3:1 compression ratio. Honda publishes 2.91 litres per 100 km - higher than the naked underbones, the price of the sporty engine state and aerodynamic bodywork.

Touring credentials

The headline number is the tank: 12 litres, more than double any underbone in this guide, giving genuinely long range for the sort of multi-day rides our long-distance riding guide covers. The seat is 788 mm high, kerb weight is 139 kg, and the 1,983 x 700 x 1,090 mm body sits on a long 1,312 mm wheelbase with a Pro-Link single rear shock. Wheels are 17-inch: 100/80-17 front, 130/70-17 rear - the widest tyres of any bike reviewed in this cluster.

Riding position and reality check

Clip-on-style bars and rearset footpegs mean a committed, leaned-forward position: brilliant for confidence and wind protection on open roads, tiring in stop-start city traffic. This is a weekend and highway machine, not an Old Quarter commuter. Two versions are listed - Sport and Special - at 72,290,000 VND (retrieved 23 September 2026; prices change).
