This policy explains how information is handled when you visit Nguyen Tu Motorbike Guide, the English-language motorbike knowledge hub of Hanoi Motorbike Rental Nguyen Tu, at en.rentbikehanoi.com/. It describes what the website itself does and does not do, and points out where third-party services — such as WhatsApp, Zalo, Google Maps and GitHub Pages — handle information under their own policies.

The short version: this is a static informational website. It has no accounts, no logins, no onsite payments, no advertising network, no newsletter database and no analytics service. The main things stored on your device are your light/dark theme preference and, briefly, your Guide Assistant conversation, which disappears when you leave the page. Contact happens by phone, WhatsApp or Zalo, and the embedded Google Maps map on the contact page is governed by Google's own terms.

How to avoid the third-party parts

If you would rather keep your visit entirely first-party, you can. The plain-text address and opening hours on the contact page replace the Google Maps embed; the phone number can be dialled directly instead of tapping the WhatsApp or Zalo links; and every guide article works without the map or messaging services. The Guide Assistant already runs locally in your browser, so using it does not send your question anywhere outside your device.

Information the website itself collects

Nguyen Tu Motorbike Guide is a static site served from GitHub Pages. It does not operate:

• customer accounts or any login system
• an onsite payment system
• a newsletter or mailing-list database
• a customer relationship management (CRM) form backend
• an advertising network or advertising pixel
• web analytics or tracking services

Because of that, the website itself does not ask you for personal details and does not maintain a database of visitor information. That said, it would be inaccurate to claim that no technical data is ever processed anywhere: every website request is delivered by hosting infrastructure, and some pages embed third-party services. Those cases are described honestly below rather than glossed over.

A practical example of what this means: reading an article about 50cc licence rules, browsing the FAQ, using the topic pages or asking the Guide Assistant a question involve no account, no sign-up and no message leaving your browser. Nothing you read is recorded against your identity, because the site has no mechanism to record it.

The situations where another company's systems are involved are limited and specific: hosting delivery by GitHub Pages, the optional Google Maps embed on the contact page, and whatever you yourself choose to send through WhatsApp or Zalo after tapping a contact link. Theme preference

The site supports light, dark and auto display themes. Your choice is stored locally in your browser's localStorage. This preference remains on your device, is used only to remember how the site looks for you, and is not transmitted to us or used for profiling.

Guide Assistant

The Guide Assistant is the question box you can open on the site. It is a static, client-side retrieval tool, not a generative AI service:

• Your question is processed entirely in your own browser, using a search index of published site content and a small curated set of approved business facts.
• No external AI or language-model API is called — no OpenAI, Mistral or any other remote model receives your question.
• The current conversation is held in page memory only. Refreshing or leaving the page clears it.
• No conversation history is stored on any server by this website.
• Answers are limited to what the published guides and approved business facts contain; the Assistant never asks you for personal information.

If you ask the Assistant about rentals or availability, it will direct you to contact the business directly, because it does not hold live stock information.

Contacting Nguyen Tu

The site does not contain an enquiry form that submits data to a server. Contact happens through ordinary links: a phone link, a WhatsApp link and a Zalo link on the contact page and elsewhere.

When you tap a WhatsApp or Zalo link, the messaging app opens on your device with our number. Any message you then type is reviewed and sent by you inside that app. Until you actually send it, the website has received nothing. Once you are inside WhatsApp or Zalo, Meta's and Zalo's own privacy terms apply to that conversation, and we have no control over how those services process messages.

What we receive, in practice, is only what you deliberately send us in that conversation — typically your name, your rental dates, the kind of bike you are interested in and where you are staying. We use that information to answer your enquiry and, if it goes further, to arrange your rental. We do not sell or share enquiry information with marketers, and we do not add customers to mailing lists, because no such system exists on our side.

Embedded Google Maps

The contact page contains an embedded Google Maps map showing the business location. This map is third-party content loaded from Google:

• Loading or interacting with the map may result in technical information about your browser, device and network connection being sent to Google.
• Google's own privacy terms apply to that embedded service.
• This website does not receive your Google account credentials or account information from the map.

If you prefer not to load Google Maps, the plain-text address and opening hours on the contact page give you the same information without the embed.

Links on this site lead to external services, including WhatsApp, Zalo, Google Maps, our main rental website at thuexemaynguyentu.com, official government and legal sources cited in our legal guides, and manufacturer or reference websites used for research. Each of those websites and services has its own privacy policy. Once you leave this site, we do not control what is collected there.

GitHub Pages hosting

The site is hosted using GitHub Pages. To deliver the website, GitHub may process ordinary technical request information — such as IP addresses and request logs — as required to serve pages, in line with GitHub's own privacy policy. We do not receive or manage that infrastructure data and cannot state its retention details; GitHub's published policies govern it.

Cookies and analytics

The website itself sets no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no session cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracking script. The only first-party browser storage the site uses is the theme preference described above, held in localStorage.

We do not claim that "no cookies whatsoever" exist in connection with this site, because embedded third-party content — specifically the Google Maps map — may use or set its own storage under Google's terms when it loads. That behaviour belongs to Google, not to this website.

Data retention

Only the following site-related items persist, and only on your own device:

• Your theme preference stays in local browser storage until you clear it.
• Guide Assistant conversations exist only in temporary page memory and are gone when the page is closed.

This static site does not maintain an enquiry database, message archive or visitor record of its own. Retention inside WhatsApp, Zalo, Google or GitHub is governed by those services' policies, and we make no claims about it.

Messages you send us through WhatsApp or Zalo remain in those conversations, as is normal for messaging apps. If you want a record deleted from a chat, that is controlled inside the app on your device, not by this website.

Children

This site is an informational resource about motorbike riding and rental in Vietnam, intended for adults and young adults researching these topics. It is not directed at young children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We do not operate accounts or sign-ups that would require age information. Parents who let teenagers use this site to research licence rules for 50cc bikes or riding safety should know that the site asks for nothing and stores nothing beyond the theme preference.

Note that riding a motorbike in Vietnam has minimum-age and licence requirements that vary by vehicle category. This site explains those rules in its legal guides, but the site itself is only reading material.

Security

The site is static and is served over HTTPS by GitHub Pages, which keeps it structurally simple: there is no server-side code, no login surface and no database that could be breached through this website. However, no website or service can honestly be described as absolutely secure, and we do not make that claim. Do not send sensitive personal documents through general chat channels; for rental arrangements, share only what the business actually needs — typically your dates, the bike category and a contact number.
