Honda’s CT125 and Winner R are both 150-class-ish manual-gearbox machines, but they were drawn for different maps: the CT125 for rough tracks and the Winner R for tarmac. Both specifications are Honda VN official (retrieved 23 September 2026).

Engines

CT125: 123.9 cc, air-cooled, 6.76 kW at 6,250 rpm, 10.9 Nm at 4,750 rpm, four-speed. Winner R: 149.2 cc, liquid-cooled, 11.5 kW at 9,000 rpm, 13.5 Nm at 7,000 rpm, manual clutch. The CT125 makes its torque low down - delivery tuned for crawling; the Winner R wants revs.

Clearance and capability

CT125: 165 mm ground clearance - the highest of any Honda underbone listed - 800 mm seat, 117 kg, 5.4-litre tank, 80/90-17 tyres front and rear, rack styling. Winner R: 153 mm clearance, 795 mm seat, 124 kg, 4.5 litres. On gravel, potholes and flooded rural tracks the CT125 is the tool; our gravel-road riding guide pairs well with it.

Economy

CT125: 1.61 L/100 km. Winner R: 2.59 L/100 km (UDC method). Manufacturer figures; both vary in real use.

Which one?

CT125: 85,997,455 VND list. Winner R: 46,360,000 VND. If your riding is Hanoi-to-mountains exploration, the CT125; if it is weekend tarmac sport, the Winner R.
