Honda sells two premium Cubs in Vietnam: the classic Super Cub C125 and the adventure-styled CT125. The engines are near-identical; everything else diverges. All figures below come from the official Honda Vietnam product pages (retrieved 23 September 2026).

Engines

Both are 123.9 cc air-cooled singles with 50.0 x 63.1 mm bore and stroke. Super Cub: 6.87 kW at 7,500 rpm, 10.15 Nm at 5,000 rpm, 1.55 L/100 km from 3.7 L. CT125: 6.76 kW at 6,250 rpm, 10.9 Nm at just 4,750 rpm, 1.61 L/100 km from a 5.4 L tank. The CT’s torque arrives lower and runs deeper - built for hauling loads up bad gradients rather than city revs.

The adventure numbers

CT125: 800 mm seat, 165 mm ground clearance, 117 kg, 1,961 x 805 x 1,085 mm, 17-inch wheels wearing 80/90-17 rubber front and rear, twin rear shocks. Super Cub: 780 mm seat, 136 mm clearance, 109 kg, 1,910 x 718 x 1,002 mm. The CT stands taller, clears 29 mm more obstacle, carries 1.7 litres more fuel - over 300 km of range for day trips - and carries it in a package clearly shaped for racks and luggage, the sort of riding our luggage guide covers.

Price

CT125: 85,997,455 VND. Super Cub C125: 88,353,813 VND (both list, retrieved 23 September 2026) - the classic actually costs slightly more.

Verdict

CT125 if your riding includes gravel, hills, floods or camping kit; Super Cub if your riding is city streets and your priority is the look. Riders under about 165 cm should note the CT’s 800 mm seat before choosing. Contact us to confirm current availability for rental.
