The Blade and the CT125 sit at opposite ends of Honda Vietnam’s underbone price list - 21.9 million against 86 million VND - but comparing them honestly is useful, because many riders ask whether the CT125’s adventure styling is worth four times the money. Honda VN specifications below (retrieved 23 September 2026).
Engines and gearboxes
Blade: 109.1 cc, air-cooled, Euro 3, 6.18 kW at 7,500 rpm, 8.65 Nm at 5,500 rpm, four-speed rotary semi-automatic. CT125: 123.9 cc, air-cooled, 6.76 kW at 6,250 rpm, 10.9 Nm at 4,750 rpm, four-speed. Both are clutch-lever-free in daily use; the CT’s extra torque arrives very low in the rev range, which is exactly what you want on soft ground.
Capability and weight
Blade: 98-99 kg depending on version, 141 mm clearance, 769 mm seat, 3.7-litre tank. CT125: 117 kg, 165 mm clearance, 800 mm seat, 5.4-litre tank, 80/90-17 tyres both ends, rack styling. The CT is heavier but dramatically more capable on rough tracks; the Blade is the lighter city tool.
Economy
Blade: 1.85 L/100 km. CT125: 1.61 L/100 km. Manufacturer figures; real-world results vary with conditions.
The verdict
The Blade Sport with alloy wheels and a front disc is the value pick for paved-city riding - see our Blade versus Wave RSX comparison. The CT125 is a purpose-built small explorer that costs more than a CBR150R; if that appeals, our CT versus Super Cub comparison covers its road-biased sibling. Neither is price-published in our rental fleet - contact us to confirm current availability.
