Reading the ladder

The sub-26-million rungs are transport: modest power, minimal running cost. Between 30 and 46 million the engines grow - the Future’s 1.47 L/100 km claim is the range’s best, and the Winner R adds a liquid-cooled manual-clutch engine.

Above 55 million, you are buying identity, not commuting: fairing (CBR), trail capability (CT125) or design history (Super Cub). The spec deltas do not justify the prices - the purposes do.

Price caveats

All figures are dated list prices; dealers may differ, and registration, insurance and plates add on-the-road costs - our list-price vs on-road explainer covers the gap. Never treat a list price as what you will pay.
