Vietnam divides motorbikes into xe so - twist-and-shift semi-automatics - and xe con tay - manual-clutch bikes. This comparison is that divide in one table: Honda’s Winner R sport underbone against Yamaha’s Sirius workhorse. Both manufacturers publish full specs (retrieved 23 September 2026).
The core difference
The Sirius RC 110 is a 110.3 cc semi-automatic: 5.9 kW at 8,000 rpm, four-speed rotary gearbox, no clutch lever, 100 kg wet. The Winner R is a 149.2 cc liquid-cooled manual-clutch machine: 11.5 kW at 9,000 rpm, 13.5 Nm at 7,000 rpm, 124 kg, with a big-tyre 90/80-17 front and 120/70-17 rear.

What it means on the road
The Sirius does everything a Hanoi day asks: light, cheap, clutch-free, and easy to park anywhere. The Winner R exists for riders who have decided the clutch is the point - 9,000-rpm power peaks, wider tyres, and the closest thing to a race replica underbone Honda sells below the CBR150R.
Note the practical asymmetry: the Sirius is a bike anyone can ride immediately; the Winner R assumes you can already operate a manual clutch in dense traffic.
Which one for you?
If you are new to Vietnam, ride daily in the city, or carry passengers and shopping, the Sirius is the correct answer - and it is one of our published rental classes. If you already ride manuals and want a sport underbone for weekends, the Winner R is Honda’s entry ticket.
Renting either one
The Yamaha Sirius is a price-published rental class at 150,000 VND per day - contact us to confirm current availability. The Winner R is not price-published: contact us to confirm current availability. Insurance is not included in rentals - customers arrange their own.
