Delivery is one of the two ways to receive a rental motorbike in Hanoi — the other being pickup at the shop — and Long Bien, where Nguyen Tu’s shop sits at 112 Nguyen Van Cu Street, Bo De, is the district where the two options are closest together.

How delivery works, honestly

Nguyen Tu does not publish a fixed delivery fee, a guaranteed delivery time, or delivery outside opening hours (09:00–21:00 daily). What exists instead: delivery or pickup arrangements made case by case depending on your location and the agreement reached. The general framework is in motorbike-rental-pickup-or-delivery-hanoi. For Long Bien specifically, the practical reality is even simpler — the shop is in the district, so riders staying anywhere in Long Bien typically pick up at the shop directly.

Arranging it

Ask when you book (how-to-book-a-motorbike-rental-hanoi): your address, the dates, the bike category, and whether you prefer delivery or pickup. Agree any delivery conditions with the shop in the same conversation. Payment forms are cash, bank transfer, or QR; the deposit runs typically 2,000,000–5,000,000 VND depending on the bike — see motorbike-rental-deposit-hanoi.

What delivery does not change

A delivered bike gets the same handover as a picked-up one: full inspection with you present (rental-motorbike-inspection-checklist), terms agreed and receipt kept (motorbike-rental-agreement-hanoi), and your signature on the condition of the bike at handover. A delivery in a hotel lobby is not a reason to skip the inspection; it is the same ten minutes with a different backdrop.

Return from Long Bien

The return follows the arrangement agreed at handover: at the shop during opening hours, or collected by arrangement. Leave buffer time before your departure day, and treat the late-return rules in late-return-rental-motorbike-hanoi as applying from the agreed return moment.

When pickup beats delivery

If you want to see a couple of bikes side by side, or your plans are loose enough that you might switch bikes mid-rental (see switching-bikes-mid-rental-hanoi), the shop visit is worth the ride over. From anywhere in Long Bien, it is minutes away — the district-level picture is in renting-motorbike-long-bien.
