Yamaha’s Sirius lineup gives buyers a real decision: the fuel-injected Sirius FI, the alloy-and-disc Sirius RC, and the base Sirius. Figures below come from Yamaha Motor Vietnam pages (retrieved 23-24 September 2026).
The three versions
- Sirius (base): from 19,048,000 VND as listed for the 2025 lineup, offered in drum, disc and alloy-wheel versions.
- Sirius FI: listed from 21,306,000 VND, adding electronic fuel injection with published consumption of 1.65 L/100 km.
- Sirius RC: the alloy-wheel, front-disc version — 21,993,000 VND list, 100 kg wet, front hydraulic disc with rear drum, 70/90-17 front and 80/90-17 rear tubed tyres, 4.2 L tank, published consumption 2.08 L/100 km, 5.9 kW at 8,000 rpm and 9.0 Nm at 5,000 rpm.
FI versus everything else
Fuel injection is the practical upgrade: easier cold starts, cleaner running, and the lowest published consumption in the lineup (1.65 L/100 km against the RC’s 2.08). Our carburettor-versus-FI guide explains why the difference is real rather than marketing. The FI’s advantage shows up most in daily stop-start commuting and morning starts.
RC versus everything else
The RC is about equipment, not fuel: alloy wheels and a real front disc. If your riding is wet-season or two-up, the disc earns its price; if it is solo fair-weather commuting, the FI’s economy is the smarter spend.
How to decide
Budget first: base Sirius. Running costs first: Sirius FI. Braking and wheels first: Sirius RC.
