Monthly rates are where Hanoi rental pricing gets genuinely useful for residents. Here is exactly what is published, and the rules that govern the rest.
The published monthly rates
Nguyen Tu’s approved price list publishes monthly rates for these models:
- Honda Vision: 1,800,000–2,000,000 VND/month
- Honda Air Blade: 1,400,000 VND/month
- Honda Click: 1,000,000–1,200,000 VND/month
- Yamaha Mio: 1,000,000–1,200,000 VND/month
Where a range is shown, the exact rate for your rental is confirmed with the shop when you book. Where we list a single figure, that is the published rate.
The contact-only rule
The other models on the price list — Honda Wave and Yamaha Sirius (150,000 VND/day each) and the E-Bike (200,000 VND/day) — have no published monthly rate, and 50cc motorcycles have no published price at all. Never assume a monthly rate can be derived from a daily one: it cannot. For any of these, contact Nguyen Tu to confirm the current monthly price and availability. The model-by-model breakdown is in which-motorbikes-have-monthly-rates-hanoi.
What the monthly rate covers
The rental of the bike for the agreed month, with the shop’s included maintenance during the term: oil changes, chain adjustment, tyre-pressure checks and normal inspection. It does not include fuel, and it does not include rider insurance — no rental shop insurance is provided, and your own cover is your arrangement (see insurance-for-long-term-renter-hanoi). Consumables such as tubes and tyres may be the renter’s responsibility depending on the situation.
Costs on top of the rate
- Deposit: typically 2,000,000–5,000,000 VND depending on the bike, held for the term and returned at the end — see motorbike-rental-deposit-monthly-hanoi
- Fuel: inexpensive at month scale; part of the real budget in motorbike-rental-budget-monthly-hanoi
- Parking: small daily lot fees where you use them
Longer than a month
Periods beyond the monthly rate are negotiable with the customer — contact us to discuss longer-term rental. Never infer a three-month or six-month price from the monthly figure; those arrangements are agreed directly.
The one-line version
Vision, Air Blade, Click and Mio have published monthly rates; everything else is a direct conversation — and that conversation is the correct way to price it, not extrapolation.
