The Wave RSX is the top of Honda’s 110 cc underbone range: the same proven engine size as the Wave Alpha and Blade, but with electronic fuel injection across every version and the sharpest sport styling of the three. Engine and fuel injection

The 109.2 cc single-cylinder air-cooled four-stroke produces 6.46 kW at 7,500 rpm and 8.70 Nm at 6,000 rpm - the strongest published output of Honda’s Vietnamese 110 cc underbones. The gearbox is a mechanical four-speed rotary with kick and electric start, and the compression ratio is 9.3:1.

Economy and range

PGM-FI shows in the numbers: Honda publishes 1.56 litres per 100 km, noticeably better than the carburettored bikes in this class, and the tank is a class-leading 4.0 litres - roughly 250 km of range between fills. Real-world consumption varies with load and traffic.

Chassis

Kerb weight is 98 kg, the seat sits at 760 mm, ground clearance is 135 mm, and dimensions are 1,922 x 709 x 1,082 mm on a 1,227 mm wheelbase with 17-inch wheels (70/90-17 front, 80/90-17 rear).

Storage and convenience

Two features separate the RSX from cheaper siblings: a U-box side compartment that Honda rates for one half-helmet plus small items, and a 4-in-1 key covering ignition, steering lock, fuel cap and the U-box.
