For a month-long rental, delivery of the bike to your door saves a trip to Long Bien — but delivery in Hanoi is always conditional, never a guaranteed standard service.
What delivery actually means here
Delivery or pickup in Hanoi may be available depending on location and prior arrangement, within opening hours (09:00–21:00 daily). There is no fixed delivery fee, no guaranteed delivery time and no delivery outside opening hours. Contact Nguyen Tu to arrange delivery for your situation and confirm the details directly.
Why monthly is different from daily
For a daily rental, delivery is a convenience. For a monthly rental, it is usually only needed twice: once at the start and once at the end. That makes it worth arranging properly — the start-of-rental delivery is also when you do the pickup inspection, sign the agreement and hand over the deposit, so allow real time for it rather than treating it like a parcel drop.
Questions to settle when arranging
Where exactly can the bike be handed over near your address? Who inspects the bike with you at delivery — the same photos and checks as in rental-motorbike-inspection-checklist apply, wherever the handover happens? How will the deposit be paid — cash, bank transfer or QR payment are accepted. Motorbike-rental-pickup-or-delivery-hanoi covers the general delivery process.
At the end of the rental
Pickup of the bike at the end of the term is a separate arrangement with the same conditions — location-dependent, arranged in advance, within opening hours. Do not leave the return to the final hour of the final day; agree the pickup a few days ahead so the return inspection is unhurried.
The one-line version
Delivery and pickup for a monthly rental are arrangeable but conditional — plan both handovers in advance, allow inspection time, and confirm details directly with the shop.
